Welcome back to another progress update!
Today we're really happy to present our second dev log video with this progress update. This time we're focusing on the development of a new mechanic; Miner Monsters! This dev log goes over the progress we took to design, develop and implement this new mechanic. If you decide to take a look at the dev log, please consider liking and sharing so we can reach a wider audience and grow the community!
Miner Monsters are a different type of monster that players will come across. They'll be useful for obtaining stone which is spent on upgrading the tools that players use to interact with all the other types of monsters. Obtaining stone from a Miner Monster works much like Cookie Clicker, players will click on these monsters to receive stone. Players can level up Miner Monsters to increase the stone they can get from each one, and also upgrade their pickaxes to get more stone per click!

Public Trello Board
Monster Tycoon is being built entirely in public and one great way to do that has been through these progress updates and dev log videos, however, to continue that trend, we've released a public Trello board that lists all the things we have left to do, are working on and have finished.
We're hoping this will allow our community to stay involved with the development of Monster Tycoon, but also allow us to set expectations as to how much there's left to do and when we could expect a closed beta and eventually full release - as well as what promises we can and cannot keep.
You can view this Trello board by clicking here. Consider also joining our Discord so you can be apart of our community.
Thank you for checking out this progress update, hopefully you had a chance to take a look at the dev log too! See you in the next one.
